Amber Hays

Hi, I am one of 4 owners of Cypris Wellness Spa. I am a Nurse Practitioner and have been in the nursing field for over 16 years. I obtained my nursing degree right here in Lubbock Texas at Covenant School of nursing. I also hold a bachelors and master's degree in nursing. I have been a Nurse Practitioner with Pediatric Trauma for 6 years. I have started a new journey in surgery recently graduating from a nationally recognized first assist program. Learning is one of my passions. My husband jokes that I will be a forever student.

When I became a nurse, I promised before God and my peers to pass my life in purity and practice my profession faithfully. I believe that my calling is to love people like Christ loves us. Everything I have and everything I do is all for his glory. This is why Cypris Wellness Spa is the next step in my journey to faithfully practice my profession and serve others through health and wellness practices.

I have been married to my Husband and business partner, Bryan Hays for 21 years. Whoever says that high school sweethearts never survive have never seen the love we have for each other. We have two beautiful children ages 16 and 13, that are the lights of my life.

When I am not playing Minecraft or cooking with my children I am probably under the ocean or sightseeing. Scuba diving and travel are some of my favorite adult hobbies. I aspire to see the world with my fins on. These things make me happy, and happiness is the best medicine. Taking care of our minds, bodies and souls is important.
